Martina Streil was born on 21st April 1977 in Cologne, Germany.  

                                                                                                          In 2010 she moved to London, where she worked at Sotheby’s, which became her self-proclaimed school of art.                         

 

Streil has antecedents in ‘Abstract Expressionism’ and ‘Conceptual’ art. Her work includes paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, books and artist’s films. 

 

Streil lives and works in London. She is represented by ‘Art Cafe’.
